This heritage variety is scab and mildew resistant and a great choice for the organic grower. The fruit, which ripens in October, is a pleasing dark red color and has an excellent, sweet, juicy flavor. Enjoy it fresh, made into a wonderful cider, or kept in a box until spring.
Considered low chill, due to its Fuji parentage; needs approx 500 hours to successfully produce blossoms and fruit.
